The school was originally built as a Senior school in 1968. Our school now houses all Kindergarten to Grade 8 programs including Gifted Community Classes and a Student Support Centre. Many students identified as gifted come from their home schools in the Central area to attend Wellington P.S. Our school also serves students and families from the immediate area of Aurora Village. Although some of our students return to their home High School after Grade 8, many move on to either Dr. G.W. Williams or Aurora High School for Grade 9. We are very proud of our academic, arts and athletics programs, as well as numerous extra-curricular activities.
